Here are the Plaid Cymru Ceredigion Penfro candidates for the 2026 Senedd election. The team will be led by Elin Jones, the No.1 Plaid Cymru candidate.
1. Elin Jones is the current Member of Senedd for Ceredigion and she has served the constituency since 1999.
“The new constituency covers the whole of Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. As #1 on the Plaid Cymru list I’m keen to be a strong voice for west Wales – and to ensure that our NHS and public services and economy are given the priority and resources they need.”
2. Kerry Ferguson is a successful business owner and former Mayor of Aberystwyth, where she lives, works and is very active in the community.
3. Anna Nicholl was raised in Cardigan, where she now lives. Anna has led a successful career in public policy in Wales for 25 years, working with Plaid Cymru government members, including Elin Jones.
4. Cris Tomos is a former cabinet member of Pembrokeshire County Council. In his work, Cris creates green energy and community-focused projects that have attracted significant funding to parts of Pembrokeshire.
5. Colin Nosworthy is Communications Manager at Aberystwyth University and former communications director of Plaid Cymru, with a history of campaigning for independence and the Welsh language.
6. Clive Davies is a Ceredigion County Council cabinet member with responsibility for the economy and sustainability, working to promote local growth and reduce carbon footprint.
