Pembroke Dock: Market by-election

Vote Chloe Richards

Pembroke Dock: Market — Thursday 9 July

A nurse. A community voice. A local champion.

About Chloe

I’m Chloe Richards. I live in Pembroke Dock: Market ward and I’m standing in the Pembrokeshire County Council by-election on Thursday 9 July.

I work as a Clinical Practice Educator in the Intensive Care Unit of Withybush Hospital and volunteer to inspire young people to pursue a career in nursing. I am also a trade union representative with the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) and a member of the RCN’s national steering committee for critical care.

As a trade union rep I’ve stood up for nurses time and again — fighting for better conditions, representing colleagues, and getting results. I’ll bring those same skills to Pembrokeshire County Council to fight for every resident in this ward.

I’ve lived in this ward since I was a teenager. I know this community and its people. I see the same problems you see — every single day.

It would be an honour to represent the area I love. I hope you’ll give me this opportunity.

Chloe Richards, Candidate for Pembroke Dock: Market

Chloe’s Priorities

🏥 Fight for our local NHS
As a critical care nurse at Withybush Hospital, I know from the inside what our local health services need — and how to fight for them. I will campaign to protect our health services and press Hywel Dda Health Board to improve access to Argyle Surgery.

🏠 Affordable housing for everyone
I will work to ensure that affordable housing is available to everyone locally, promoting high standards in new and existing homes that meet the real needs of ward residents.

🌿 Tackling real local problems
Empty shops, potholes, fly-tipping, rubbish — I live here and see these problems daily. I will fight against fly-tipping, push for reliable waste collections, and champion the regeneration of our high street, bringing new life to empty units while protecting parks and green spaces.
