Ceredigion Penfro, you deserve better

Over 620,300 people in Wales are awaiting treatment on the NHS. The NHS in Wales has been run by Labour for the last 25 years. It is time for a fresh start.

Should there be a Plaid Cymru Welsh Government next year, within the first few days, Plaid Cymru would introduce temporary local treatment centres in existing hospitals to get people on waiting lists treated faster. Ensuring that health boards work together strategically would mean better use of current resources, more efficient services and reduced patient waiting times.

Technology also isn’t being used as much as it could in Wales to help patients manage their conditions and enable doctors to monitor patients remotely.

As Plaid Cymru Ceredigion Penfro candidate, Kerry Ferguson said:
“We are all very aware of the difficulties in accessing GPs and the long waiting time there currently is for receiving treatment. The shortage of GPs has been particularly prominent in Pembrokeshire. Plaid Cymru is the only party which has carefully constructed ready-to-go solutions that would reduce current waiting times and bring long-term benefits to our broken NHS.”
